Hahah, every marketing person’s dream customer 😅 I recently read a book about marketing strategies and I was mainly rolling my eyes. I am a bit too down to earth for such to have an impact on me.

Oh yes, absolutely.
One I see on a daily basis is buy one get one. Sometimes it’s a good deal, but often times the price of that one item is inflated to be almost as much as two normally would be.
Also, fake discounts for example on travel – get 65% off today. Turns out, there’s always some sort of promotion going on, but if you don’t think or look into it much, you think you got a bargain.
People like to be made to feel better, so… *shrug*
