For all the introverts

So many times I have been told to “come out of my shell”. And while I did try from time to time, it was forced and didn’t come naturally to me at all. Worst of all, the people who told me this, also preached about the quote “always be yourself”. Such contradiction!

Just an FYI, it is completely ok to stay within your shell if you are comfortable there! 🙂

  1. I have a brave hat. Whenever I’m unsure of a situation, I put on my brave hat. When I wear my hat, nothing wrong can happen to me!

For me it’s stripes shirts, especially when playing chess. Sometimes I look at back at photos of the competitions I used to do and I always had a striped shirt on 😀 and the one time I didn’t, I wasn’t in the top 3! 🤫

  3. If people are getting close enough to tell you to come out of your shell, you may not be introverting properly.

When this happens, focus your eyes on something far away over their left shoulder. Tilt your head one way, then the next, and furrow your brow.

When they turn around, cast your ‘disappear’ cantrip. The spell is in the introvert starter kit. 🙂

  5. As a fellow introvert, I’ve had people tell me that too. Or they tell me to open up before I’m ready to, and then when I try and fake it they accuse me of not being myself. Well, duh!
