Haha, my mum used to make practice patience by making me pull threads through a needle. I definitely felt like this!

Thread’s through the needle’s eye? I hated when my grandmother made me do that. I absolutely sucked and most of the time she got it done much faster herself.

… sorry, hit the submit button too soon. I always wondered why people use needles with small holes. I’d use those with much bigger ones and make things easier, but for some reason, those were my grandmother’s least favorite. I wondered if she just did it on purpose.

The larger the eye is, the thicker the needle is, I suppose. I guess you want to keep the holes as small as possible.
It is something that tests your patience. Just like building a house of cards 😄
