Someone I knew had a clock that had a different bird sound play every hour. They liked it, but I just found it annoying.
A french press my partner got came with a mini hourglass. I like using it instead of setting up a timer for when the coffee is brewing.
My oven, when the time runs out, beeps. It pierces my brain!

Haha, that does sound extremely annoying on a long term.
I do like those antique clocks, but the ticking noise isn’t for me.
An hourglass is interesting to look at.
Everything in our house beeps.
The washing machine, the drying, the oven.
And the beep repeats itself every 5 seconds for an hour. Horrible
