  1. A cute illustration! And that’s a surprise about 99designs kicking you out after two weeks. That’s so quick. I’m sorry they put you through that.

  2. Now look at this, baking companies might actually go mad for it! It’s so authentic, and beautiful. Wish I was a designer like that, but currently I am stuck with Canva’s free versionπŸ˜žπŸ˜‚

  3. That would be great, I’d happily give it to them πŸ˜€
I think Canva doesn’t work on an Android. I did hear good things about it! I use Sketchbook. It is for free as well πŸ™‚

  4. Oh, Canva is a website, you have to access it through the web. You make all that using Sketchbook!? I thought it was only for drawing rough ink annotations. I mean do you build these from the scratch, or use/import some elements?

  5. Ooh oops, yes now I remember what Canva is. Got confused for a seconf
I definitely use the internet for inspiration, but I do the illustrations myself.
But I draw each item individually, so I have quite a library by now.πŸ˜€

  6. While I do encourage you to try and do less doodly logos, I see nothing wrong with these! Not everything is for everyone, but it’s definitely for someone. This one in particular looks great!

(Sidenote: check the spelling in the logo, unless it’s some sort of a play on words.)

  7. I wonder what would appeal more to people, a doodly logo like this or a more sophisticated one, for let’s say, a bakery. I guess that children might be more amused by something more playful.
Or maybe people don’t care about logo’s but just want their piece of pie.

Haha no it is not a play on words. I think somehow a bit of German slipped into my mind and I realized it too late πŸ˜…

  8. For me, desserts are fun, which I associate with something lighthearted, and often – childhood. All of that together – I think doodle logos for bakeries would smash it (unless it’s a bakery only catering to some sort of serious businesses).
